Message to the participants of Copenhagen Conference, who strive for a
world without imprisonment, torture and execution!
Dear comrades accept our warm greetings!
We are gathered here from all over world, Latin
America, Asia, Europe and Middle East countries to talk about the oppression
and tyranny that still is exercised against the
humanity in twenty-first century. We live in a world with more than 11 million
prisoners. Unfortunately this number is increasing every day.
In fact, more than these people themselves the societies and governments
are responsible for those mishaps and unpleasant incidents. Societies and
governments, in which a minority owns the wealth and luxury and the majority
works hard just to survive, they live below the poverty line, are unemployed, have
no social rights and facilities, are deprived and therefore are compelled to
turn to addiction, prostitution…
There are people in prisons, who know the root of these problems and inequalities;
they believe that ruling system is the ultimate responsible for all these
misery and fight against them. Imprisonment and torture will not break them
down and force them to resign against the rotten capitalism system. Many people
demanding and struggle within and outside the Prison walls for a world with
equal opportunities for the human kind.
The annual statistics illustrate a remarkable increase on executions in
USA and Iran that can earn the savagery awards. These governments struggle to
leave the other governments behind by building prisons, foster the executioner
and guards.
Our dear friends and comrades
Execution is a willful murder that maintains the existing order of
capital, well prepared and using all suppression devices.
The struggles for abolition of execution have been fruitful and forced
many countries to withdraw the dead penalty from the penal law. We, who
gathered here and many other people seeking a world free of organized
barbarism, must actively and united stand against this medieval savagery act of
capitalism.
If the capitalism as the ruling power employ the imprisonment, torture and execution to
continue its disgraceful life, the opponent social forces, it means the workers have no other choice than to get organized
and fight comprehensively against it. All progressive social forces along with
workers can put an end to the monstrosities of capitalism.
The Iranian labor movement in recent years is struggling and paying a
heavy price to obtain its legitimate rights and establish their independent
organizations. Dozens of labor leaders are suffering imprisonment, torture or
expelled from work. Now leaders such as Mansour Osanloo, Ebrahim Madadi, Reza Shahabi, Behnam
Ebrahim zadeh, and many others are under worst
conditions in Islamic republic prisons.
We, the activists organized in the Solidarity Committees with the Iranian Workers’ movement abroad of Iran, believe that the international working class
can fight together against the global capital and build a world without
imprisonment and capital punishment.
We hope that this meeting brings us closer to our common goal, which an equal society free from any oppression,
torture, imprisonment and death penalty is.
We sincerely thank the organizer of this conference and
wish you success.
Expand the struggle against imprisonment, torture and execution!
Free all political prisoners immediately and unconditionally!
Long live the international solidarity of the working class!
